News Of A Dibbun And A Furture Dibbun!
RW Abbey: Vineyard
Much of the vineyard has been cut now for spring, the brittle vines of the winter gone and being replaced by new growth. Bright green shoots sprout from the winter-worn vines, ready to produce a new harvest of luscious grapes. They climb the bars of wood, climbing up towards the sun. Already the large green leaves spread in the sun shield the beginings of the sweet fruit.

Rayen has been feeling blah off and on the past couple days. It would come and then just go away and it's upsetting to her as she wants to be able to be there to support her friends today and she feels like lying down and the fresher air and walk didn’t help much as she sits on the steps away from beasts right now. Also it’s shady here and cooler than the rest of the abbey.
Leon is walking around helping around in the gardens today with some checking of crops and sees the vixen and walks over to her "Hello, I would of thought you be elsewhere today."
Rayen shrugs, "I..was just out walking and decided to sit down her, it’s shady and cool and no one is around to brother me here."
Leon looks confused "Why would you not want anyone to brother you. Whats wrong?" He walks closer to check on her.
Rayen frowns "I got a little..sick after breakfast, maybe something disagreed with me, I was a little ill feeling yesterday and day before that also. I didn’t tell Flicktail before you ask, as he..worries a little too much sometimes weather its small or large and didn’t want him to know I felt ill. It’s not as bad now as was earlier" She shrugs, "Maybe it’s just not getting some sleep and this whole...you know funeral stuff. I know beasts are upset and sad, could it be that?"
Leon takes her pulse and listens to her breathing as he hmms, "So ill feeling how? And maybe could part way be a sad feeling or your just worried about something? So just past couple days right?"
Rayen nods slowly, "Yeah past couple days, like in the mornings mainly and then I am ok later." Her pulse and breathing is normal, “Certain foods don’t agree with me either or smells last couple days also."
Leon nods as he listens and studies her, he then looks to be deeply thinking on something, “Been tried or anything? And it’s only in morning not much later in day at all?" This does sound familiar to him and he is a healer after all.
Rayen sighs and starts to answer but ends up throwing up a little, away from the mouse so lucky for him and frowns, she makes a face at the ickky taste in her mouth before speaking," Yeah mainly clears by lunch but I have still been careful on what to eat..you know just in case. And been a little tried..why?"
Leon finds some mint and has a small canteen of water and mixes a little in a bowl he keeps around, "Here, it may help settle the stomach some. I have an idea what it may be and if right it’s nothing to worry on and the ill feelings will go away in maybe a week or so...then again all beasts are different with that."
Rayen sips the mint water as she listens, "Different with what?" She asks quietly, curious and maybe a hint of worry.
Leon smiles, " You may be with dibbun..very early stages of course and will know more if that’s the case in few weeks when...well it’s clearly easier to tell. And you can keep me updated on how your feelings also. So you may want to think about making sure get rest when needed."
Rayen nearly drops the bowl of whats left of that mint water, “Dibbun?"
Lee makes his way toward the vineyard, dressed in a freshly pressed tunic and cape. "Afternoon, Leon, Rayen. Didn't expect ta see any other beasts 'ere in the vineyard except the gardeners. Don't forget the ah... Well, ye know. All of the Abbey is expected ta be in attendance."
Leon nods, "Yes, the symptoms you gave sound right, nothing else seems wrong as you’re very healthy..good pulse and your breathing is good. Your more tried and feeling ill in the mornings and ok by lunch.." He nods to Lee" I know I was walking around and found Rayen here sitting by herself and so went to see if she was ok and she is fine."
Rayen offers a smile to Lee, "Sorry it’s just cooler and shady here is all and I didn’t feel well earlier, though some fresher air or walk would help some." She nods an ok to Leon.
Lee nods his head. "Ah, well, it is rather cooler here." He goes silent for a few moments. "Stream'eart regrets bein' unable ta attend, but she be confined ta bed rest for now. Still, as 'Ead guard I feel it's me duty ta be there at the funeral."
Leon asks, "Is she feeling any better than she was?"
Rayen nods "I will be there too, I am feeling some better than earlier."
Lee nods. "She be feelin' much better, Leon. It were scary when she passed out after the feast an' weddin'."
Leon nods, "Keep a good eye on her. She may of just been trying to do too much."
Rayen says, "I hope Streamheart will be ok now and yes rest is best most likely"
Lee smiles. "Thank ye. I'm sure she will be. She... Well, I'll be honest, Stream'eart got really weak when our son Konrad were born, too... I fear these things may be too taxin' for 'er 'ealth. I be thinkin' mayhaps we oughta get 'er down ta warmer climates once she be well enough ta travel again..."
Leon hmms "Well it will be warmer here soon, maybe just not have any more dibbuns if it affects her health"
Rayen nods " Yes I would hate for your family to have to leave Lee, you would be very missed and you have friends as well as family here. And your head guard as well"
Lee says, "Ye may be right, I'm afraid. I... I don't wanna lose 'er ta a pregnancy gone wrong, Leon. She's the love of me life. An' yer right, Rayen... But I think me wife could per'aps benefit from another trip ta Camp Willow, per'aps next season... I still 'ave me little 'ouse there... Camp Willow would provide 'er with plenty o' much needed rest..."
Leon nods "Understandable, maybe a short vaction or maybe have her stay there a couple weeks and you can check on her. It has been fairly quiet lately in the woods and road and that’s good news "
Rayen nods "A rest is good, just not too long of one "
Leon asks, "Does camp willow have a good healer?"
Lee nods again. "Indeed. No hide nor hair of that firestarter fellow, no more sightin's o' that ColdClaw... It's been very quiet... Per'aps *too* quiet..." He frowns, then quickly changes the subject, responding to Leon, "Indeed, they do. I forget the name, but I 'eard it be a very talented 'ealer, one o' the best otter 'ealers in all Mossflower."
Leon says, "That’s good and she would be safe there in case there was some trouble and I am sure they would sent word if you were needed for something as Camp Willow is not too far away"
Rayen listens as the two talk to one another.
Lee crosses his arms. "Aye, me thoughts exactly. Once she be able ta get up an' about again, I think I'll take 'er up ta Camp Willow ta recuperate in a relaxed environment." He suddenly snaps his fingers. "Oh word, I almost forgot ta tell ye, Rayen. We 'ad a girl. Not decided on a name, yet, but it's a daughter."
Leon says, "I am sure your come up with a good name Lee"
Rayen smiles "Congrats Lee, maybe something simple would be good or name after an aunt or something"
Lee shrugs. "I'm sure we'll think o' somethin'. We 'ave a few ideas, but those we'll keep to ourselves right now."
Leon nods, "We probably should be heading to where Lorimis Funeral is soon as know it’s about time for it to start."
Rayen nods slowly as she stands up "Yeah, sounds good"
Lee nods. "That is probably a good idea."
Leon nods "Lets head to Great Hall for now, they may meet there first."
Rayen nods as she goes to follow them.
