Memory Lane

Kisharn walks in the great hall looking around with her one good eye and hobbles over to a chair putting her walking stick down

Fae follows The weasel and sits down. " your a good fighter" she chuckles rubbing her side

Kisharn shakes her head "not nearly as quick as you"..pointing to her scarred blank eye. "thank you...for helping me"

Fae smiles " no problem...i didn't want you to die....you sounded like you were having a nightmare....about rosey....who is she?"

Kisharn lowers her head " rosey is my sister....Teeny i called her....we used to play games and tell eachother secrets...we were best friends...and one day she.." and starts to cry

Fae looks at the fox with sympathetic eyes "tell me about her"

Kisharn closes her eyes and a flashback starts......

It is summer....in a leafy grove.... two weasels are playing. " c'mon teeny catch me!" The older weasel laughs. The littler weasel runs after her sister and pounces on her " got ya!" she giggles.

The older weasel flips over and tickles the little weasel " haha! not so fast teeny!". Teeny sqeals with laughter " ok you win!".

both weasels are laughing now. " i love you sis!" teeny says to her sister. " i love you too" the older weasel, kisharn says, teeny smiles " i know who you like!" and dances around the grove. " hayle!" and giggles. Kisharn jumps up " i do not!" and runs up to teeny and tickles her

there is a call from their mother nearby. kisharn picks up her little sister and puts her on her back " weve got to get home for dinner!" and races off through the woods towards her cottage. when she arrives the cottage is burning. They here screams from inside

kisharn puts teeny down "stay here!" she orders and races off towards the house. She enters through the broken door. Her mother lies dead in the corner by the stove and her father tumbles down the steps his head crack.

the weasel screams and tears fall down her face. She sees the face of a wild cat look at her. The cat charges for her but the weasel dodges it. Kisharn realizes the cat did not go after her but her sister who was standing outside the door. " ROSEY!" she screams and runs out the door and sses her little sister being taken by the cat. " ROSEY! NO!" she cries her little sister screams " KISHARN! GET AWAY FROM HERE!". The cat takes rosey far away. kisharn runs as fast as she can but trips and falls into a small crevasse. She stays there and cries

Fae wipes the tears from her eyes and hugs the weasel "your ok now...."

Kisharn is sobbing and hugs the fox. "i...i killed the cat a few months later"
