Its Unwise TO Travel At Night
This is a short log with Ripfang my monitor in it. He just wants a snack and his boss has other plans for said snack =
Somewhere in Mossflower woods near the church south of Redwall Abbey
Ripfang was bored and that was not good for a monitor lizard as he hisses low, he was still grumpy with that Kolur
Ping walked through the woods with his mate and child “I am not sure dear that Abbey is somewhere I am sure of it. Not to worry.”
The female hamster worried as she held a small dibbun of less than a season close, “But dear its dark, we should find a place to stay. What of the old church?”
Ripfang smelled the air and grinned as he looked around and spotted the hamsters and an evil smirk formed as he rushes over to grab the female in his claws.
The hamster maid screamed and held her now wailing dibbun closer as she was grabbed from behind ”Ping!”
The yell also got a certain wildcat’s attention as he walks over and his ears flatten, “What is all the screaming about I demand answers!” About 14 other varies rats and weasels come to the wildcat’s aid if needed.
Ping looks like he has seen death itself and maybe he has “N..N…N..NO..r..r..r..release her please…I beg ya!”
Ripfang just laughs and looks ready for dinner when he sees the wildcat “I was jussssst having dinner masssssster.”
The hamster maid faints at these words and the dibbun falls to the forest floor onto to cry and wail loudly.
Zurrgg growls, “Quiet it down, someone…..anyone and Ripfang no I have a better idea” He smiles coldly as he walks up to Ping ”For now…”
The infant is picked up by a rat that somehow calms it down..ok that’s just odd but least it’s not wailing, it’s just looking at the rat curious and coos softly.
Ripfang hisses but goes to tie up the hamster maid, it’s clear he is upset overlooking a possible midnight snack.
Ping gulps..”w..what do you want, please just release my family I ..I will do anything”
Zurrgg smiles at this “Anything huh, alright you go to the abbey, find out who is the leaders and while you’re there also find a rat maid, her name is Thorn. She betrayed me and I have reason to believe she is in that abbey. She needs punished…”His smile gets colder ”By me..then you find a way to leave and come, but not here I will let you know where to find me don’t worry on that. You find this out and come to me…then you and your family is released.”
Ripfang narrows his eyes at the wildcat.
Ping frowns “I..y..yes I can do that…ok” He then runs off panic flooding him but he wants his family free and it seems a small and simple request, then he and his family can leave the area and go far away….maybe the sea coast even.
Zurrgg smirks “Oh do not worry Ripfang. I will release them once he returns as I said” He chuckles evilly “why release them all from life itself!”
Ripfang grins showing his teeth, “Yes a most..excellent choice massssster”
