Battle of Four Tazans (and return of the fifth)
Characters: Aikuen, Ella, Venei, William
Location: Moledeep
Moledeep: Garden Burrow
Aikuen is back in the garden burrow. He has gotten better over the past few days. Though he is beginning to start to worry again. Has been a few days. Good thing his twins keep him very busy, "I gots daddies!" "No'es! I gots daddies.. Rarr Rarr!" "You both got me! Argh! Dont pull there!" "Heh! Come ons daddies! Tell us'us" "NO! You cant make me tell you!...OOO! OW! Ouch! Okay! Okay! Let me catch my breath..." he takes a few breaths as the otter twins jump off, waiting in one of the chairs, "Wells?" Aik holds his chest before grinning going to tackle them, "I got me some little otters!" "No Daddies! hehehehe Stops it!"
A dark figure slides up behind the old otter grinning as it drops a scrap of parchment above Aikuen before duck down out of sight
The parchment reads: 'It is dangerous to sneak up on an otter but since you've been warned would you mind getting caught? The twins aren't your only children nor should they be the only ones to have fun either.'
Aikuen is the tickle monster! "Hey hey! i got you! Bow to me! For i am the tickle-e!" he continues to tickle their sides as they roll around on the chair batting away at him, "Stops! Pleaseses!" and they continue to giggle loudly. Aik continues his tirade until the paper falls in front of his eyes, "What the?" he stops to look at it, "Whats is...ARGH!" The twins use this time to gather their forces and tackle him back, wrestling him to the ground, "Whee!" "Daddy go boom!" "Ack. Hold on Ella. Let daddy go for a second... And nice job..." he chuckles as he gets a better look at the paper. Reading it slowly. He grins, "Silly." he balls it up and tosses it away, "Just a scrap of paper... But if something was written on it. Id say, No i wouldnt!" he laughs and the twins look at him funny.
"Good," Will laughs appearing from behind the otter's chair to grab at Aik, weather it's to help the twins or himself is unclear. "I only warned you for my own sake. You don't react well to be sneaked up upon unless Mum's doing the sneaking," he adds trying to imoblize one of the otter's arms if he can.
Aikuen laughs as his son appears, "Will! Hey... What are you..." his left arm is brought down to his side. And the twins laughs going to do the same thing to his right arm, "Holds him downs Will-Will! Ayes!" "No! Let me go! Oi! I need those arms!" he laughs and flexes, easily raising his right arm. The twins hold on for dear life as they rocket into the air, "Ahhhhhh! Heheh!" Now its Wills turn. Who is much heavier, being a full grown rat. The otter flexes his left arm and raises it in the air. And if the rat hung on, he would be lifted a bit of the ground. Course this is with strain from the otter.
William can feel himself being lifted off his footpaws, it's an odd feeling. "No! We will not surrender! Get him Ella! You too Venei! We will not give up! You're out numbered Captain Tazan!" he laughs keeping his grip on the otter's arm.
Aikuen can only hold the rat up for a few second with only one arm, "Holy moley! You need to stop eating rocks, oh son of mine!" He chuckles and ergs dropping the rat back to his footpaws. The otter is weak! Ella GOGOGO! Ella uses the time and jumps on top of Aik's head holding on, "I gots him Wills!" Venei giggles and jumps on his back, wrapping her paws around his neck, "Me toos!" Aik chuckles and fake retches, "Ack! You... Big... Sillies!" he uses his right arm to try and pry off Venei, but she moves her head, every time he tries, "Misses me!" Aik ergs, "So Unfair! You guys are so much bigger than me!" Almost losing his balance. He is going to topple over soon.
"Rude. I think it would help if you didn't sleep the winter away, Father Dear. You should take lots of long walks outside in the freash air. Shouldn't he sisters? Nice walks in the snow would make him lots stronger don't you think?" Will says as he lets go of Aik's arm and moves to the side so should the otter tip over it won't be on top of him.
Aikuen frowns at Will, "Im rude!? Why i oughta!" he shakes his free fist before he is finally toppled over on his front, breaking his fall with his paw. Doesn't faze him a bit, But the twins have better access to lay on his back, 'pinning' him, "NO! Not the outside! Anything but that! Ill do the dishes! Ill make the beds! Ill tie myself to the door! I will!" he fake yells for help, "Help meh! Its cold! Me no likey da cold!" he shakes on the ground.
William pushes lightly against the elder's back with his paws, "Hold him down my sisters! We are winning!" he laughs leaning forward a bit to add more weight Aik's back.
Aikuen grunts and frowns, "OH! You guys are so mean..." he fake sniffs, and arches his back, "Ack! Hey..." he reaches over and tries to pull on the rats leg, "Stop that! OR else im gonna make Hardtack for DINNER!" Venei gasps but Ella claps.
William isn't bother in the slightest, "Hardtack's better than some of th stuff you've tried t cook." He moves to try and lay across the otter is the twins will let him in spite of any advantages it may give their father.
Will conceds, "You're an otter. I don't think it's possible for you t ruin fish. You may be a good camp cook but if I live a hundred seasons I never forget that glob you tried t cook when I brought you here." He chuckles at Ella, "Oh ho, you got a Pikefish hat. Very nice."
Aikuen glares daggers at Will, "It probably would have tasted alright... if... it didn't look like...like puke..." he snorts and look up with his eyes, seeing the very end of a rudder, "Hey. My pikefish hat has a pull switch..." he gives it a light yank, and Ella erks and flies off his head grring. Aik just laughs his head off at that, "One down. Two to go!"
"Picking on helpless babes shameful," Will teases griping some of the folds of Aikuen's habit in either paw very tightly. The rat isn't taking a chance at getting thrown.
Ella goes to sit on one of the chairs giggling at the predicament her father is in. Clapping and cheering along. Aik snorts, "Helpless? She was using me for a chair!" he laughs, "Lets see now... how do i... Ah yes..." he starts to swish his rudder back and forth. Venei holds on again, "Whee!" "You cant hold on forever!" he lifts his rudder in the air and continues to swish it around. After a bit Venei squeaks out, "I gives up! Daddies! I gives up! I is dizzies!" Aik chuckles and places her back on the ground. Venei tries to walk but falls on the ground laying against his rudder, "Whoa... Everyting is alll whoosh!" she laughs, "Now... Its Will's turn..." Aik laughs.
"Well mostly helpless til they get a little older or at least bigger," the rat answers still gripping the otter's habit.
Venei slowly lumbers off, but she cant make it up the chair. So she resides on leaning against it, "Go dads!" she raises a paw before collapsing in a heap, giggling. Aik grins and says, "Hold on all you want too my son..." In fact he would prefer it. He places both paws on the ground, and starts to do push ups, "Ah. This is too easy..." He removes one paw and places it on his back, near where Will is holding on. He strains but he gets it done. One handed push ups, "Getting sick yet?"
William says, "Nope. Kinda fun really. Ella an Venei wouldn't want t try it though. They're too tired right now. Probably ready for a nice long nap those two are."
They are tired. Venei is completely worn and she already gets a head start on the napping. Ella is as well. But she stays up to see what will happen to the rat. Aik looks over at the twins, "Oh aye... Then i better... get this done...." If the rat was holding on well. Aik places both paws on teh ground and shoots heavily on one side. Aik shoots upward, and tilts to the right. Tipping. Tipping. And over! But! He falls in a heap on top of the rat, "Time for a nap!" he fakes snores and lets loose all his muscles, trapping the young ratty! Mahahah.
William is squished, not that he didn't have time to get away but because he thought the otter was bluffing. He should know better. "Gerouf oi! Gurt h'otter!" he cries out plaintively crawling out from under the old otter. He isn't hurt just a little annoyed with himself for getting pinned so easily.
Aikuen snorts and tries to keep fake snoring. He reaches up and grabs his sons legs with both paws, "No! Don't take me teddy-rat away! Ill never get to sleep now!" he pouts and laws on his back now, looking up at the rat. Ella is the only one awake and she tilts her head at the molespeak. Not getting it.
William tries to get away from the otter but trips as his footpaws can't move with big ottery paws around them. "Oof! Let go if oi ... of me. Come on Pa, let go," the rat sighs now laying flat on his stomach trapped by the otter.
Aikuen grins and wont let go, "No! You have to replace yourself with some lovely little otters. Your sisters would be nice! Someone to cuddle up with! Unless you want to be, My big teddy-rat!" he snorts loudly and lets him go finally when he trips.
William turns his head to try and look at the otter behind him and in so doing he catches sight of a beast coming in from the hall, "I'll do you one better. I'll replace myself with a big otter for you. Well if you can catch her," he says raising a paw to wave at Fira as he scramble up off the floor and away from Aik
Aikuen chuckles at the rat and blinks at him, "Huh? What you say? Big ott-..." his smile goes into a full blown grin, "Fira?" he gets up off the ground, as if it was on fire, running toward the entrance. Fira takes off her hat on the table, before she is tackled around the middle and hefted over Aiks shoulder, "Hey! Let go!" she laughs as she is carried around. Aik bounces, "Fira me darling!" he swings her around and puts her down going to hug and kiss her, "Back so soon?" he laughs loudly and wont let her go for nothing. The rat successfully escapes. Fira smirks at him, nuzzling his cheek, "Where are our kids?" "Over here..." He leads her into the Garden Burrow.
William dusts himself off a little before sitting down next to Ella. He rubs her head some as he sits down, "Look who's back. Think we should wake Vee?" he asks her.
Ella yays and bounces at Fira, "Wills looks! Yay! Mommies home! YayYayYay!" she giggles, "Vee is sleepies..." she points down to her sister. Fira smirks at them going to pick up the sleeping one, "You wont dare to wake her!" she goes to sit down in an opposite chair, placing her, in the folds of her cloak. Aik grins and plops next to her taking her free paw. She smirks, "You know Aik. Ive been walking all day... I could use a nap as well..." Aik nods, "Oh aye. Of course. Just. Glad your back!" he grins and noses her.
William asks, "Did ya have a good time Mum?"
Fira looks over at Will, "Yes. But all i could think about while i was there... was coming back home to my daughters... Oh. And Aik of course." she nudges him and smirks, "Got some new books. And some found out a few things..." she yawns and scratches her ears, "Sorry. there is a lot of snow to trudge through" She sighs and rests on Aiks shoulder. Aik grins and kisses the top of her head
William chews on his lip a little then says, "Probably wont need t go over to th abbey again til the snow starts melting don't ya think? Winter will be over before too much longer." The rat isn't sure how Aik'd take Fira leaving again before the spring thaw and hopes she'll agree that she wont need to leave again for a good while.
Fira squeezes Aik's paw, "Im not going anywhere for a long time Will. Got enough books to last me for awhile! Lots of puzzles to solve!" she grins. Right up her ally this is. Aik smiles softly at her, "Aye. Don't leave. Please... I... I Miss you too much..." Fira smiles softly leaning up to kiss him, "Your were always a big softy. Im not going anywhere for a bit dear. I promise you that..." Aik smiles and sighs happily, "Im so glad that you are back..." Fira smiles back at him, "Me too." Ella crawls off the chair and goes over to the other otters, climbing up and hugging mom, before going to curl up in Aiks lap
William smiles at the happy otters as he slips out into the hall to tend to other things glad to have his stepmother back home
