			Since the sacking of Halyard and the foiled Siege of the mountain, the Western Shore entered a time of relative peace not seen since before the days of Lord Bludstripe.

			While several minor conflicts and skirmishes would take place in the period, no great threat in the Western Lands or Mossflower would arise. The Long Patrol, after seasons upon seasons of fighting, began to adjust to peace.
			Only a small force fit for fighting was actively maintained, with most hares of the Patrol retiring or becoming reserves.
